Cara Le Ann is a Certified Massage Therapist with CAMTC with over 1,000+ hours of accredited training, approved by the NCBTMB she is also an accredited Prenatal Massage Teacher giving workshops and trainings to massage therapists who are interested in expanding their clientele to work with the pregnant population.
Being also a Licensed Midwife, Cara is passionate about reproductive justice, racial justice, (better & beyond) equal rights to quality healthcare, and autonomy of informed choice in birth for all pregnant people, especially those who identify as QTBIPOC.
In our massage/bodywork session, together we address your body’s holding patterns, and work through technique and relaxation to release the muscles that may be tight and shortened; with an attuned sense of listening to both your body and your feedback. My goal is for you to feel relaxed and realigned in a way that serves you in your optimal health and functional alignment.
Cara lives in Nevada County with her partner and two children, both of whom were born at home.
The massage office is a sacred place. I encourage you to come and allow this space to be your sanctuary. I invite you to quite your mind and invite in minimal talking. Allow the music and table to hold you so your body, mind and soul may experience the full benefits of relaxation. You are in control of the pressure of touch at all times during your session.
